Police have released new details regarding the disappearance of a missing woman from Belleville, Illinois, 32-year-old Beverly Logan.
Logan has not been seen since Jan. 25. Her family last saw her near Ross Lane in unincorporated St. Clair Township on the outskirts of Belleville, Ill.
According to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department captain, Bruce J. Fleshren, Logan wasn’t reported missing until Feb. 13 and was last seen with a male friend. Logan was reportedly in a blue rented 2019 Nissan Versa with Alabama license plates. The car was reportedly rented by a male friend but was being driven by Logan.
“We have learned that she was in Warrenton, Missouri with a male friend,” Fleshren said. “She was last in possession of a rented blue Nissan Versa with Alabama license CH1006. We are actively trying to make contact with Ms. Logan to locate her and confirm her safety.”
Her father, Willie Logan, told KSDK that he wanted his child to know they were looking for her.
“I want what any parent wants,” he said. “I want her to return home… I want her to know we’re looking for her.
Her mother, Trina Logan, received a text message from her on Jan. 26, and she was okay. She added that her daughter would not go weeks without contacting her parents.
“She has always made contact with us, always,” she said. “She has never gone two weeks without even contacting us… I’m hoping that he can tell us some information. Did he drop her off somewhere or just something? Something that we can go on that can help locate our daughter.”
The police confirmed that they are investigating the whereabouts of Logan but added that they have no reason to suspect foul play and have no suspects. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office requests that anyone with pertinent information contact them at 618-825-5204.
