After shooting at law enforcement, an Orlando man is facing charges and leading them on a chase Wednesday evening in a stolen car. Police officers arrested 36-year-old William Bullock in Ocoee since the police chase crossed city lines and ended in a citizen’s backyard, WFTV reported.

Before 8 p.m., officers noticed the car Bullock drove was reported stolen. Officers in an unmarked vehicle sprung into action and went after the car while calling for backup from other units. Officers said Bullock shot at them, and they responded by firing back. The pursuit eventually ended in a person’s backyard.
The suspect has been identified as William Deleon Bullock, 36 yrs old. These are the following charges he is facing:

Possession of Firearm/AMMO by Convicted Felon

“First thing we saw, I heard pops in the backyard. Inside, I heard, ‘Get on the ground!’ I see flooding in the side; they bring a canine unit in, starts barking, the next thing I know he’s crawling behind the fence,” John Sapp, a neighborhood resident, said.
Bullock is now facing multiple charges, including shooting into an occupied vehicle, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, fleeing from police, and attempted first-degree murder of an officer with a gun.
Orlando police held a press conference to give updates on the matter, stating no officers were harmed during the exchange and that officers didn’t “engage” when the suspect began firing.

“We are going to release some photos, we are going to release some video eventually,” Police Chief Orlando Rolón said. “You will see where the shots were placed from the suspect shooting at our officers.”

Law enforcement is in the process of processing the stolen car and stated that there were magazines inside the vehicle, including a drum magazine, which holds many rounds.
“But if there is one thing that really is upsetting is the fact that these individuals are out there and they continue to harm people, and we have to hold these convicted felons accountable for their actions,” Rolón said.
Bullock is a convicted felon with an arrest warrant out for failing to appear in court.
