The FBI has indicted a racist white Kentucky man for going on a zoom-bombing tirade threatening to lynch a class of fifth-grade students.
Brian Adams, 22, zoom-bombed Laureate Academy Charter School’s virtual classroom in Harvey, Louisiana, during the COVID-19 pandemic. On October 14, he barked racially charged comments at the students, including, “You all are a bunch of dirty n****s” and “I’m gonna hang you by the tree.”
According to prosecutors, many of the majority-black students covered their ears and began crying. The National Center for Education Statistics, during the 2020-21 academic school year, reported that Laureate Academy’s enrollment was 67% Black.
Adams was indicted Thursday on a charge of transmitting an interstate threat to injure or kidnap the children and staffers, and he faces up to five years in prison and fines of up to $250,000.

The Harvey school canceled its classes for two days after the incident.
The FBI found and indicted Adams after two students discovered a YouTube channel called “Archangel gaming,” which posted a video of the incident. The account was allegedly listed under the name “Alex Jones,” which coincidentally is the name of a conspiracy theorist.
Google, which owns YouTube, provided authorities with the email address affiliated with the YouTube account, which they matched to the Zoom account. The Google account information also included Adams’ address which led federal agents directly to his home.
In November 2020, federal agents were able to raid his house in Plainsville and seized multiple electronics from the home.
After the FBI raid, Adams reportedly admitted to threatening the Harvey children in their Zoom classroom and posting the incident to his YouTube channel.
He also confessed to stealing thousands of dollars worth of computer equipment by hacking and stealing Best Buy awards points through a different customer’s account.
