A 39-year old Jacksonville woman has redefined rolling to the bank. Kenyeitta Gordon robbed a Regions Bank on West Bay Street in the northeast Florida city. She made the not-so-fast getaway in an electric wheelchair.

According to Action News Jacksonville, Gordon’s heist initially began as a typical transaction when she entered the facility on Feb.22. Gordon attempted to ass overdraft protection to her account. The teller who was assisting her completed the transaction when Gordon requested to withdraw money from the account. The Region’s bank employee informed the woman that the withdrawal couldn’t be completed, and things took a turn for the worse.

According to the news outlet, Gordon got pissy and began cursing the teller out and demanding money. Although the details are not clear about why this ended up being an unarmed robbery, the teller acquiesced and gave the woman $100.

The suspect fled the scene in her electric wheelchair, and the police were called. Officers obtained information regarding her identity, and she was apprehended wearing the same attire she wore to the bank– and still cruising in her electric wheelchair.

Police arrested Gordon after discovering the cash and crack pipe on the woman. She was charged with strong-arm robbery, which is a second-degree felony, according to a Florida State statute, and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use or distribute.
