Nikolas Mayrant has claimed that Amazon terminated his employment after Brad Boynton, a resident, hurled racial slurs at him.
Mayrant was a delivery driver for the massive online retailer when he was tasked with making a delivery to Boynton’s home in North Carolina.
According to the delivery driver, Boynton, also an Amazon employee, yelled at him while simultaneously having a conversation with another employee in which he complained about the delivery.
Luckily, the interaction was captured on a Ring doorbell camera.

One of the first things that can be heard in the video is Boynton telling Mayrant to “walk the f**k away.”
The angry racist went on to call Mayrant a racial slur multiple times.
Mayrant’s sister, Heather Rose, posted the video to her Instagram account and said they later found out that Boynton had an issue with how the Amazon truck was parked.
Mayrant said he parked the way he did because the street was narrow.
“After waiting behind my van for no longer than 20 seconds, the individual slammed the door in my face whilst I was trying to deliver his package to him,” Mayrant said of Boynton. According to Rose, her brother asking why he was being photographed is what sent Boynton into his slur-ridden tirade.
“He begins to curse him out & call him a n***er multiple times. My brother was FIRED from his job for asking the guy why the pics & walking on his grass after he called him a n***er,” Rose wrote.
Attorney Benjamin Crump expressed his outrage about the matter on Twitter.
This is unacceptable! A Black Amazon driver was FIRED from his job after a neighborhood resident called him racial slurs & harassed him while taking photos of him. Why was this young man terminated when he was the victim of this shameful harassment?!

Mayrant said that Boynton sent the Ring footage to an Amazon colleague, which led to him being terminated. According to LinkedIn, Boynton is a Program Manager at Amazon.
The information for Boynton’s manager has made its way to social media, and Rose encourages others to email the company to express their thoughts about his behavior.
