Madame Noire reported that one of three suspects involved in a beauty supply store robbery on Sunday, Dec. 12, has been arrested.
According to police records, Eonie Jones, 18, was arrested on Friday and held on a $25,000 bond at the Broward County’s Sheriff’s Office. She is facing charges of first-degree robbery with a weapon.
Jones was caught on video with one suspect carrying an infant and another pregnant suspect, stealing multiple lace-front wigs from ‘The Beauty Plug,’ located in Tamarac, FL. An employee helping the suspects was pepper-sprayed in the face before they stole the items and fled the store. The two suspects who accompanied Jones are reportedly her underaged sisters, and they have not been arrested yet.
After the incident, the store owner, who is also the employee’s mother, posted photos of the suspects on their Instagram business page.

“Tonight, we experienced a horrific event. Three girls came into our store, attacked my daughter with pepper spray and stole multiple lace wigs,” the owner wrote in the post caption. “I cannot believe this. If you recognize any of them, PLEASE contact us. One was very pregnant, and the other was holding a baby that approx. 6-8 months.”
She also confirmed to The Shade Room that Jones was wearing one of the wigs she had stolen in her mugshot photo.

Jones’ arrest records indicated that this wasn’t the first time she had run-ins with the law. The 18-year-old has been arrested several times with 15 additional charges, including second-degree petty theft, criminal mischief, battery against a person 65 years of age or older, and trespassing.
The owner has plans to take legal action and posted a message on the store’s Instagram account for the suspects who robbed the store and assaulted her daughter.
“I hope those wigs were worth it because once you decided to pepper spray my child, you turn a simple petty theft into robbery w/assault & battery, and because you had that baby with you, you’ll be charged on that too,” the owner said. “Sad that you’re about to lose your children and freedom over some wigs. Dumb low-life.”
They announced on the store’s Instagram story that they’re taking donations via Cashapp and Paypal, and the funds will be used towards improving their security.
