On Tuesday, Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies discovered three-time Olympic medalist Frentorish “Tori” Bowie dead in an Orange County home. The cause and manner of her death are pending.

According to WESH 2, officials arrived at the 5400 block of Bowman Drive at 1 p.m. to conduct a welfare check since those close to Bowie hadn’t heard from her in days.

OCSO officials found Bowie, 32, unresponsive in the home with no signs of foul play.

Icon Management Inc., a sports representation and management agency, addressed the news of Bowie’s death on Instagram.

 “We’re devastated to share the very sad news that Tori Bowie has passed away,” Icon’s statement read. “We’ve lost a client, dear friend, daughter and sister. Tori was a champion…a beacon of light that shined so bright! We’re truly heartbroken, and our prayers are with the family, friends and everyone that loved her.”

Four-time World Champion Lolo Jones tweeted a wholesome video of her joking with Bowie, sharing the unfortunate news devastated her.

Jamaican track and field star Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, who Bowie defeated with her gold-winning run in the 2016 4×100 race in Rio, expressed her sadness over losing the prodigious athlete.

The 32-year-old Olympic champion dominated the 4×100 meters relay at the Olympic Stadium in Rio de Janeiro on Aug. 19, 2016. The Mississippi native won the race with Tianna Bartoletta, Allyson Felix and English Gardner, finishing at 41.01.

Bowie helped lead America to victory at the World Championships during the 4×100 meter relay on Aug. 12, 2017. She ran with Aaliyah Brown, Felix and Morolake Akinosun at the Olympic Stadium in London, finishing at 41.82.

She also won a gold medal after prevailing in the 100-meter race in London on Aug. 6, 2017, with a 10.85 mark.

From 2014 to 2017, Bowie snatched first place eight times in 200 and 100-meter races in the Diamond League.

America truly lost a diamond.
