Police started searching for the Sam Houston State graduate after his girlfriend reported him missing. He was last seen on Dec. 9 driving a 2019 Honda Civic Near Capital One Bank on South Voss Road.

On Dec. 10, his mother, Tiffany Robinson, uploaded an Instagram post of his missing person flyer.

“#help bring Taylour home. #missingperson,” she wrote in the caption.

She was so adamant about finding her son that she brought public awareness to him by creating the hashtag #bringtaylourhome. Eventually, Cardi B found out and reportedly shared the circulating flyer about Young via Instagram stories. Robinson reposted Cardi’s story and thanked the rapper for her assistance on Instagram saying,

“@iamcardib thank you for your willingness to share Taylour’s story in efforts to #bringtaylourhome. #missing person #missing #missingandblack.”

In her caption, she also tagged prominent Black journalists Don Lemon and Rolands Martin.

Young’s mother told news outlets that her son didn’t return from his lunch break, and his phone was found in the bushes. She reportedly used the Find My Phone App to locate his device. After that, she was sure that something had happened him.

“I know something happened, and I just feel like he is in danger. It’s not like him to not call me, my sister, or anybody in our family,” Robinson said.

Sadly, her hunch was correct and she took to Instagram again to express her grief about the gruesome discovery of Young’s body.

“As I shared TAYLOUR’s disappearance with the world, I want to share my worldly loss as well,” she wrote. “I loss my son, my baby, my friend.”

Robinson reportedly described her son as a sweet person who was very loved.

“He is so loved. I’ve had his coworkers tell me funny stories. I didn’t know Taylour would go to Whole Foods and play bingo with senior citizens, but a colleague of his told me that. I thought that was so funny and just the perfect example of the nice boy he is.”

She added that Young was working towards a promotion at work. He was an accountant.
