TikTok user Mica Renee asked for help after losing the phone number for a dream man she met on vacation by sharing a video of the pair’s meeting in Miami.

TikTokers jumped in to help, and before Renee knew it, not only was the man found, so was his wife.

The vacationing woman shared the video on her TikTok page and another page that helps reunite strangers called #helpmefindhim, which has more than 168 million posts. She asked for people to help her find him and joked she hoped he wasn’t married.

“TikTok help me find this man I met in Miami,” she said. “After we got out the ocean, he did give me his number, but I was lit. I thought I saved it, but I didn’t,” Mica said.

A man waded into the ocean to meet Renee as her friend was recording her in the video. He flirted with her before giving her his phone number, which she failed to save due to being tipsy.

The video was viewed nearly 5 million times, and the man was found. Ironically, he lived in Detroit with his wife. Renee shared an update to TikTok and noted that she and the wife had exchanged text messages, and the woman requested Renee leave the video online.

“So the update is that he is indeed married, and I won’t be reaching out to him,” she said.

The man’s wife and a mother of four, Sharee, thanked Renee for posting the video and said she did not blame her for her husband’s indiscretion. She was also glad to have evidence of his philandering ways.

“It’s not your fault,” she wrote. “He didn’t care so please believe I’m not about to. But thank you for posting this. Everything done in the dark will always come to the light….Can you not delete the video. I don’t want him lying about this, too.”

The man was later identified as AJ when he made his own video to deny his actions. He also said Renee needed mental health counseling.

“You cappin’ hard,” he said. “There was never no cheating, and never no attempting to cheat. I hope you get whatever mental help you need because that s**t is just a little crazy and very, very weird. Hope your life gets better.”

AJ concluded by noting he did not cheat on his wife.

Renee appreciated Sharee’s ability to have a respectful conversation, and she also had some advice for women.

“All I have to say is, ‘Ladies, don’t believe in fairy tales. You may go viral,’” warned Renee.
