Asian Man Arrested For Threatening Random Black People With Knife

Michael Joseph Schlimmer, an Asian man, was charged with bias crime in Oregon after he harassed two random Black strangers and threatened them with a knife.

According to KPIC, the man first menaced a Black man with a knife on July 8. The police say that they received a report from the victim that the assailant threatened him and his girlfriend and brandished a weapon. Witnesses to the incident corroborated the claim that Schlimmer also spewed racist epithets at the couple.

Before officers completed taking the report, another call came in that reported that a man broke a glass door at a local business and harassed a woman playing a lottery game.

Once police arrived, they saw that the thug in question was Schlimmer. In the second incident, he had whispered in the woman’s ear that he would murder her and postured as if he intended to do her harm.

Schlimmer admitted to the arresting officers that he indeed did everything that all complainants and witnesses had accused him of doing.

There goes “POC solidarity.”

Schlimmer, unable to live up to being a model minority, is a repeat offender. Back in October, he was charged with menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct. In May 2020, he was also charged with disorderly conduct in another incident.

The day after his anti-Black terrorist activity, the assailant was charged with two counts of a first-degree bias crime, four counts of menacing, two counts of second-degree disorderly conduct, unlawful use of a weapon, and criminal mischief.

In Oregon, bias crime is described as putting another person in fear of danger due to their perceived race, color, religion or other protected classes.

The local Asian community has not yet issued a statement condemning this act of anti-Black violence, nor have they planned any marches or hashtags.

Schlimmer has certainly given new meaning to #stopAsianhate.
