Ciara, Russell Wilson, & Their Kids Attend The NBA Championship Finals Game

Power couple Ciara and Russell Wilson attended the NBA Denver Nuggets vs. Miami Heat NBA championship game on Monday, June 12, with their kids. The Wilson family got the opportunity to witness the Nuggets winning their first NBA championship live.

Following the game, Russell commemorated the moment with an Instagram post featuring his family wearing Denver jerseys and looking like they were having a great time. Russell Wilson wrote to his fans in the caption, “Such a special moment. Denver Nuggets World Champs.”

Singer and dancer Ciara, 37, added her own congratulations in the comment section under her husband’s original post. She continued to reflect on what a “magical night” it was with Russell and the children.

The Nuggets vs. Heat finished the NBA season out with a final score of 94-89 in the best of 7 game series. Nuggets player Nikola Jokic was dubbed MVP of the match. ESPN recognized Jokic for his outstanding performance in the finals for his team. The outlet reported, “It puts him in the legendary category for what he’s done statistically in the Finals. I don’t know if there’s anyone who’s ever had a statistical run in the NBA Finals as a center as he had in these categories.”

Twitter blew up after the Denver Nuggets beat the Miami Heat earlier this week, with NBA fans expressing excitement over their win or disappointment for the Heat’s loss.
