Fans React To Simone Biles Tying Young Black Gymnast Zoe Miller’s Hair Ribbon

While competing at the 2021 U.S. Gymnastics Championships on Sunday, Simon Biles displayed the sweetest gesture of big sisterhood, tying Zoe Miller’s, 15,  hair ribbon while preparing for their gymnastics routines.

The moment was shared on Twitter by NBC Olympics and shows Biles helping Miller, a young Black gymnast, fix her hair with a ribbon. With both gymnasts competing in the Fort Worth, Texas-based 2021 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, the friendship and bond between the pair are clear in the captured clip.

Commenting on the video of Biles and Miller, one user tweeted, “She’s the GOAT and yet she takes the time to do this. That’s what sets her apart. Other athletes of her caliber sit off to the side in their own little world with headphones on and that’s a valid choice BUT I love seeing this humanity and humility with a teammate.”

“Being the Goat also make you a teacher,” another fan added. “Great job being a mentor for the younger athletes.”

Cementing her status as the GOAT, Biles recently earned her seventh national women’s all-around gymnastics title at Fort Worth’s championship. According to CBS News, the 24-year-old now

has more titles than any other American female gymnast.

Biles is also expected to show up and show out at this year’s upcoming Tokyo Olympics, which was postponed last year due to COVID-19.
