Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard Slams Biden For Choosing First Black Woman VP And Supreme Court Justice

Former Congresswoman from Hawaii (D) Tulsi Gabbard accused President Joe Biden of playing identity politics on Jan. 31 by vowing to appoint the first Black woman to the Supreme Court. Gabbard also had an issue with the first Black female Vice President, Kamala Harris.

Gabbard took to Twitter to whine about the first Black and female and Asian Vice President and Biden’s announcement that he will replace retiring Justice Stephen Breyer with a Black woman.

The former congresswoman called Harris a disaster and claimed that identity politics destroyed the country.

“Biden chose Harris as his VP because of the color of her skin and sex—not qualification,” she wrote. “She’s been a disaster. Now he promises to choose Supreme Court nominee on the same criteria. Identity politics is destroying our country.”

She also claimed Biden was choosing a Supreme Court Justice solely on race and gender despite his pledge to appoint an overqualified Black woman with character and integrity.

“The person I will nominate will be someone of extraordinary qualifications, character, experience and integrity,” said Biden from the White House. “And that person will be the first black woman ever nominated to the United States supreme court. It’s long overdue in my opinion.”

Gabbard continued to oppose Biden’s choice to nominate the first Black woman to the Supreme Court.

“Biden’s mistake,” she wrote. “He should not be choosing a Supreme Court justice based on the color of their skin or sex, but rather on their qualifications & commitment to uphold our Constitution & the freedoms guaranteed to all Americans in that document which is the foundation of our nation

Gabbard also posted Tweets opposing the Biden Administration possibly sending troops to help the Ukraine fight Russia while simultaneously destroying the U.S. democracy.

“The Biden Administration is ready to go to war with Russia to save Ukraine’s corrupt so-called ‘democracy’ while destroying our own democracy here at home,” wrote Gabbard.

It’s safe to say that Gabbard is not a fan of the Biden Administration.
