Law Roach’s Three-Year-Old Nephew Dies After Falling From 17-Story Window in Chicago

Law Roach’s three-year-old nephew, Lamar Roach Jr., died on November 23 after falling out of a window on the 17th floor of a Chicago residential building.

According to People, Chicago police said that the window screen had been moved inside and that Roach Jr. was “found unresponsive laying on the sidewalk outside of the building.”

Baby Lamar was soon after rushed to Lurie Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Celebrity stylist Law confirmed his nephew’s tragic passing via different posts on his Instagram Story over the last couple of days. Funeral arrangements for the toddler have been set for December 1.

“Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. This is the toughest thing I’ve ever had to deal with. No one should have to bury a 3 yr old [sic] baby,” wrote the Legendary star.

“I keep reading this over and over, hoping to not recognize his name … my God!” Law said after seeing the story in the Chicago Tribune article.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the toddler on November 24 and conducted an autopsy the following day.

“I love you all, especially my Tribe,” Roach shared with his followers on Instagram.

An investigation into the child’s death is currently occurring, but there are no suspects in custody.

Law is known for his time on HBO’s drag competition Legendary in 2020. He judged contestants on the show as part of a celebrity panel, including Leiomy Maldonado, Jameela Jamil, and Megan Thee Stallion. He also was a guest judge on season 23 of

America’s Next Top Model.
