Marcus Montgomery, Accused of Kidnapping Woman In Detroit, Turns Himself In

Marcus Montgomery, 21, turned himself in to authorities this past week after he was named a suspect in a Detroit kidnapping, Click On Detroit reported. He was reportedly accused by police of pulling a gun on Eboni Smith, 20, while she was sitting in a car along with a friend on July 27 and allegedly forcing her into his own vehicle, later

identified by authorities as a silver Ford Escape.

According to Click On Detroit, police said Montgomery then fired a shot and hit Smith’s friend after she attempted to follow his vehicle. She was later transported to a local hospital for treatment and is reportedly in “temporary serious condition.”

Police also stated that Smith and the alleged kidnapper both knew each other, the news outlet reported. However, it is unclear exactly how.
