Mark McCloskey Who Brandished Gun At BLM Protesters May Run For Senate

Modern live-action Fred Flinstone, Mark McCloskey, announced he is considering a run for senate, reported Politico.

With his wife, Patricia, seated beside him, he said, “I can confirm that it’s a consideration, yes,” when asked about his intentions to run for Missouri’s open senate seat. He is best known for pulling a gun on protesters last June.

McCloskey and his wife, who are republicans, were indicted on unlawful use of a weapon after they stood outside barefoot and each brandished a gun at peaceful Black Lives Matter that passed by their house in St. Louis. Although the protesters were of no harm to them, they decided to bring guns to a march preemptively. The bigoted couple’s audacity landed in legal trouble.

Then-President Donald Trump championed the couple and used their situation to add validity to his claims that the far-left activists who were protesting the murder of George Floyd were really trying to overtake upper-income neighborhoods. However, he failed to pardon either McCloskey on his way out.

As usual, the couple claimed self-defense at the time. “I was a person scared for my life, protecting my wife, my home, my hearth, my livelihood. I was a victim of a mob that came through the gate,” Mark said. The street was known to be a private street in a gated community. Protesters were marching to St. Louis mayor Lyda Krewson’s home.

Mark McCloskey also claimed color was not a factor in his decision, but his fear of the Black Lives Matter protesters was. The couple’s attorney said his clients support the message of BLM. Apparently, requesting

civil rights is threatening.

Like clockwork, the couple rose to GOP stardom and were invited to speak at the 2020 Republican Convention. However, their speech was as ineffective as their self-defense claim. Currently, Roy Blunt is the current GOP senator for Missouri. He announced that he would not seek reelection in 2022, opening the seat for McCloskey or someone who is qualified.
