Muhammad Ali Look-Alike, Michel Rivera Won a Knockout in California

Michel Rivera, a 23-year-old boxer who deeply resembles Muhammad Ali, won an incredible knockout Saturday in California.

Rivera is a Dominican lightweight and building a reputable name for himself due to his unbeaten run, 21-fight winning streak, and La Zarza Ali nickname.

Rivera recently took on a match and scored impressive victories during live broadcasts on the premium US network Showtime.

In his latest win, Rivera fought against Jon Fernandez at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

Rivera out-fought his opponent in every round of the fight and ended up scoring a contended knockdown, got a legitimate knockdown in the sixth, and then wrapped it up with a final win in the eighth.

Rivera, in total, landed 138 shots from 372 dispatched for a 37.1% punch accuracy, compared with the 63 from 384 that Fernandez threw for a 16.4% accuracy rate, according to CompuBox data sent

to Insider.

 “I’m so excited and beyond happy to get this win,” Rivera said in a statement sent to the outlet.

“Fernandez was a strong, experienced opponent that forced me to change the game plan I had going in.”

“I knew since the first round that I would have to be careful with him. He had heavy hands and was taller than me, but I was faster and more skilled overall,” he added.

Due to his latest success, Rivera advanced his pro boxing record to 21 wins (14 knockouts).

He is now targeting more big-time fights against his fellow Premier Boxing Champions’ stablemates Rolando Romero and Gervonta Davis.

“I want the fight with Rolando Romero next,” Rivera said. “Once I do face him, I would like to go up against Gervonta Davis or Teofimo Lopez.”
