NBA Superstar LeBron James And Sons Shine On Sports Illustrated Cover

NBA superstar LeBron James and his sons Bronny, 17, and Bryce, 15, have been revealed as the new cover stars of Sports Illustrated.

The magazine’s latest issue features LeBron wearing a black T-shirt bearing an image of his own first Sports Illustrated cover while standing on a basketball court alongside his sons. Its cover story, “The Chosen Sons,” is reportedly a play on the title of Sports Illustrated

‘s legendary 2002 article about LeBron while he was a high school junior.

The Los Angeles Lakers star touched on a multitude of topics in the story, including his wish to one day play in the NBA with Bronny. He reportedly expressed this desire in the past on numerous occasions.

“I like to throw things out in the airwaves, but I’m not one to [say] what’s going to happen in the next two to three years,” LeBron said. “I am a visionary, but I’m also a guy that lives in the moment. I’d definitely be looking at who got first-round picks in 2024, 2025, [and] things of that nature; 2026, ’27. I pay attention to that type of stuff.”

He also addressed criticism about the “pressure” he may have put his son under for wanting to play with him in the NBA. Bronny is reportedly eligible

to enter the 2024 NBA Draft.

“I don’t give a s**t what nobody says,” the four-time NBA Champion said. “Our quest and our journey is not predicated on what everybody said. You going to have five people that love you out of 10. Then you have five people that hate you out of 10. That’s just the way of the land. No matter what you do.”

He additionally opened up about being teammates with his younger son, as Bryce has reportedly been predicted

to become the better player of his two boys.

“I feel like I could play for quite a while. So it’s all up to the body, but more importantly, my mind,” he said when asked if fans could expect to see the James family on the court together one day. “If my mind can stay sharp and fresh and motivated, then the sky’s not even the limit for me. I can go beyond that. But we shall see.”
