Patriots’ Linebacker Mack Wilson Tweeted Adorable Video Of His Son Deuce’s First Steps On The Football Field

New England Patriots linebacker Mack Wilson, Sr., tweeted a video of his young son taking his first steps.

On August 19, in the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Mack, 24, recorded his baby boy, who goes by the nickname Deuce but shares his father’s name. The super cute video followed the Patriots’ game against the Carolina Panthers in the preseason – the Patriots won

out over the Panthers in a 20-10 game. The clip showed Mack sitting on the field, still in uniform, holding his hands out to his one-year-old son, who was donning a matching jersey with “Wilson II” on the back.

Mack called to his son, telling him to “Come here,” a few times before the boy took a couple of clumsy steps towards his dad, who excitedly grabbed him and cheered him on proudly for his accomplishment.

The caption of the video said, “The highlight of my night. Deuce walked to Dada.”

The following day, Mack gushed about the sweet moment again, along with new pictures of him and his son on the football field.

“My son really took his 1st steps in @GilletteStadium. That’s wild,” he wrote.

Even the NFL celebrated Deuce’s first steps. “First steps on the football field. This is beautiful, @MackWilSr,” the National Football League wrote.

Mack has always proudly loved on his son on his social media account. Just earlier this month, Mack shared some adorable pictures on his Twitter to celebrate his 1st birthday.

“Screaming Happy 1st Birthday to my little man. I’m so blessed and honored to be your father. You’ve taught me a lot over the past 12 months, and I can’t thank God enough for bring you into this world,” Mack wrote about Deuce.

He added, “I love you, Mack Wilson II. #TheBig1.”
