Steph and Ayesha Curry Renew Vows For Tenth Anniversary

NBA player Steph Curry and his wife, Ayesha, renewed their vows and had a second wedding to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

On Instagram, Ayesha revealed that Steph had surprised her with the small ceremony a couple of weeks ago and gushed about her husband’s thoughtfulness.

“A couple of weeks ago, @stephencurry30 surprised me with the most beautiful vow renewal ceremony. He even picked out my dress for me and had it waiting 😭,” Ayesha wrote.

The couple, who now have three children, had their mini-wedding officiated by their eldest child, Riley. Riley is their nine-year-old daughter.

Their other two children, Ryan, 5 and Canon, 3, walked their mother through the lawn to meet her groom.

Steph and Ayesha are high school sweethearts who happened to make it through the college years and navigate some of the trials that are common with athlete marriages.

They married on July 30, 2011, and each of their separate endeavors has continued to prosper. Steph has made a name for himself in the NBA, and Ayesha has blossomed as a chef and a young Martha Stewart of sorts.

On their official anniversary, Ayesha again took to Instagram to shout out her husband.

“I can’t wait to see what the next 50 has in store for us. Happy day happy day! We’ve been doing the most celebrating the past couple of days. July 30, 2011, to infinity and beyonnnnnnd,” the post read in part.

This moment may be somewhat bittersweet. Less than a month after the couple celebrated their anniversary, Steph’s parents recently announced their divorce after 33 years of marriage. The divorce has become salacious as they have accused the other of being unfaithful during the marriage.

However, Steph and Ayesha have managed to hit a milestone that an estimated 32 percent of marriages do not meet. Even better, they seem to still like and love each other.

We wish them many more.
