A 50-year-old woman in Richmond County, Georgia, went ballistic and crashed her vehicle into a Popeyes establishment on Saturday, Feb. 18, for not having any biscuits with her order.
WJBF reported Richmond County Sheriff officers arrested Belinda H. Miller after she reportedly drove her SUV into a Popeyes on Walton Way in Augusta, GA. While no injuries have been reported, Miller almost hit a woman inside the building.
Miller’s actions stemmed from being irate due to missing biscuits that were supposed to accompany her order. Staff members fixed the order, yet Miller wasn’t satisfied and reacted.
Police said Miller drove
her vehicle through the Popeyes’ left wall and doors. Realizing her car could go further, she pushed the SUV forward another four feet until she couldn’t go anymore due to the debris.According to the Augusta Chronicle, Police were summoned to the area a little after 7:45 p.m. When they arrived, Miller fled the scene and headed south on Gordon Highway.
On Feb. 22, police found her SUV at her house with front-end damage.
Miller is facing aggravated assault and first-degree criminal damage to property charges. She is in a cell at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center and on a $4,600 bond.
Before the incident, the damaged Popeyes manager said Miller had threatened the employees several times, and one of her threats was that she would drive her car into the building.
It’s unknown if the biscuits were the leading cause of Miller’s actions, but reports said that the 50-year-old left after her order was fixed and returned to drive her car into the building.
