Tristan Thompson’s Mother, Andrea, Dies In Toronto From Heart Attack

Chicago Bulls’ Tristan Thompson has suffered

a devastating loss.

TMZ reported that the power forward’s mother, Andrea Thompson, was rushed to the hospital after suffering a massive heart attack in her Toronto home on Thursday. Paramedics reportedly tried to revive the woman, but she passed away.

Tristan and his babies’ mother, Khloe Kardashian, immediately left Los Angeles and rushed back to Toronto to be with his family. The basketball player was extremely close to his mother, the publication reported.

“Khloe and Tristan traveled to Toronto because Tristan’s mother passed away,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. Kris Jenner and her sister, Kim Kardashian, will support the baller and his family in planning Andrea’s funeral.

“A private funeral for his mother is scheduled that Khloe, Kim, and Kris are expected to attend.”

In 2016, Tristan spoke about his close relationship with his mother.

“Everyone knows that my mom, she’s very dedicated in taking care of her sons — especially Amari,” Tristan said. “But at the same time, you need to make sure that she’s OK. It’s asking a lot for one parent to do, so I always try to make sure that she’s doing well, too. Whether she’s getting a massage or just get out of the house and have a babysitter watch for a couple hours, that’s crucial.”

Although Tristan hasn’t spoken out regarding his mother’s death from by heart attack, one of his last posts to Instagram was an adorable video of him dancing with his daughter, True.

“When my princess asks if daddy can dance…anything for my baby girl ❤️👑,” he wrote.

Our condolences to Tristan and his family.
