Twice-Impeached One-Termer Trump Says Haitian Migrants Probably Have AIDS

The disgraced former President Donald Trump claimed that Haitian migrants being allowed passage into the United States would be deadly for America because they are likely to be bringing AIDS into the country.

Using the only platform that still takes him seriously, Donald appeared on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show last Thursday and spoke about the migrant crisis at the southern border, and his ignorance was on full display.

Trump claimed that the Haitians did not have to follow protocol to enter the country and that because Haiti has an AIDS problem, the decision to allow entry is deadly for the country.

“Look at what’s happening in Haiti — a tremendous problem with AIDS. Many of those people will probably have AIDS, and they’re coming into our country… It’s like a death wish, like a death wish for our country,” Donald said.

AIDS is a disease that is contracted when the virus enters the bloodstream through the body’s many mucous membranes. The ways that this is known to happen are through blood, breast milk, semen, rectal and vaginal fluids.

Donald has famously cheated on all of his wives. In other words, with his history of sexual impropriety, he is far more likely to be a transporter of a sexually transmitted disease than one of the migrants.

Interestingly, Donald was reported to have said the same thing about Haitians back in 2017, but his administration denied the allegation. Now that he is no longer a sitting president, what little self-censoring he did is now unnecessary.

Meanwhile, HIV infection in Haitians aged 15 to 49 is just two percent, and Haiti’s HIV rate has declined in recent decades, according to the UNAIDS.

However, in the United States, the rates of infections for individuals within that age range are 30.1 percent (25-34) and 16.5 percent (35-44).

The Haitian embassy in Washington, D.C., has denounced the comments.

“These vile comments aim only to sow hatred and discord against immigrants,” the embassy said in a statement last Friday.
