UPDATE: Kodak Black Shooting Investigation Names Southside as a Possible Suspect

Kodak’s online beef with a music producer may have been the reason his security guard caught a bullet.  According to TMZ, Southside made threatening comments during an Instagram Live on Sunday in response to Kodak’s Instagram Live where he mentioned Southside’s girlfriend, Yung Miami of City Girls.

Southside apparently does not play when it comes to his girl.

“Yak, you still a b***h,” he said. “We can bump, too. I’ll be back in Miami in a week. Pull up wherever we can bump. Don’t bring no security. Bring yo’ n****s, I’m gonna bring my n****s, we can bump.”

Earlier this week, News Onyx reported that according to police Kodak and his people were ambushed and the unknown shooter opened fire from a car that was tailing Kodak after he left a club. The “No Flockin'” artist, was in Tallahassee, Florida that night to perform at Cultur3 Fest Music Festival.

Kodak and his entourage visited a local McDonald’s. The rapper wanted to go inside the restaurant even though his security guard offered to go in. That’s when a vehicle that had been following the entourage earlier reportedly appeared in the parking lot, left the parking lot and then returned with those inside the vehicle shooting at Kodak’s camp.

On Tuesday, Kodak took to Instagram and spoke his piece about the incident.

“A b***h ain’t even gone play with me,” Kodak expressed.

“When I saw the [reports] I was like, what the f**k? This ain’t no s**t like, y’all trying to make it like, one of these little industry b*****s. That sh** was just some little bulls**t on some lame little s**t that transpired on some lame s**t, homie. If you a real stepper out here, you gone know, I’m in this life. Baby blue s**t. That’s Yak right there.”

Although the rapper tried to deny any correlation between his Southside beef and the shooting, this situation seems a little suspect.
