Jenkins succumbed to her injuries at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Harris died at the scene. Andrews was pronounced deceased on April 12. The reporter’s boss repeatedly tried to contact her to cover the story, unaware that she was one of the victims involved.

Sierra’s friend Demmi Nimer spoke with CBS News about losing Sierra.

“I’m devastated. I was with her when everything happened and just wish I could’ve done more to help her.”

Harris’ former high school football coach said, “Malik was one of those guys that I wish for the family’s sake, my sake and for everyone’s sake that this would have never happened.”

We are sending our sincerest thoughts and prayers to the friends and families of the victims.
