VIDEO: Bride Blows Dust Off Wedding Vows During Ceremony After 15-Year Relationship Finally Leads To Marriage

Christie Jefferies recently blew the dust off her wedding vows during the ceremony following a 15-year relationship that finally led to her wedding day.

According to Fox 10 Pheonix, Christie Jefferies performed the hilarious act while standing in front of her groom, Byron, and guests at their wedding in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. She reportedly did it right as the couple was ready to exchange their vows.

During the moment, captured on Ten Oh Eight Films, the couple told their videographer that “laughter is key” to their lasting relationship. The bride then unfolded the paper with her personal vows to Byron and blew a big dust puff off the top of the sheet. The hilarious joke had the crowd in stitches and even made the groom smile.

“This dust symbolized all of the love they had given each other until this point but also represented a new beginning for them as husband and wife,” Christie said, who confirmed that it was a nod to their 15-year relationship.

The video, which was uploaded to TikTok, has racked up millions of views so far.

“When you have been together for 15 years,” the in-text caption read.

“Absolutely hilarious! Extremely witty + clever move by our bride, Christie, the other weekend during their ceremony vow exchange [laughing emoji],” The School House venue wrote in the post’s caption. “As a tribute to being together almost 15 years, Christie decided to ‘blow the dust’ off of her ceremony vows in preparation for reading her vows to Byron! Byron’s Reaction = PRICELESS [recorder emoji] Ten Oh Eight Films [camera emoji]. @The Ten Oh Eight Co.”

Since the video from the couple’s marriage went live, thousands have left comments on it.

“[The groom is] like, ‘She’s actually roasting me on our wedding day,'” one user said.

“I’ve been waiting 22 [years], I think my [vows] will be going to the grave with me at this point,” another wrote.

“This will be me with 18 [years worth of] dust, lmao,” another commented.
