VIDEO: Pastor Mike Todd Rubs Phlegm And Spit On Parishioner’s Face During Sermon

Pastor Mike Todd apologized after footage of him hocking up phlegm and rubbing it on a parishioner’s face during a sermon went viral on Jan. 16.

According to NewsChannel 8, Todd is the pastor at the Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pastor Todd was giving a sermon where he tried and failed to convey a message about receiving God’s vision.

At one point during the sermon, Pastor Todd spits into his hand. He spoke more before he hocked up a substantial amount of phlegm in dramatic fashion and spat it into his hand.

The disgusted churchgoers could be heard clutching pearls left and right as Todd rubbed the concoction all over the parishioner’s face.

“Receiving vision from God might get nasty,” preached Todd.

Todd’s brother was reportedly the parishioner who sacrificed his face for the phlegm-filled sermon.

The pastor wiped so much spit and phlegm on his brother that parishioners could see it dripping from his face. Twitter users were equally revolted by his actions.

I can’t tell nobody about what they heard from GOD but I’m 99% sure GOD ain’t told Mike Todd to do that!! My stomach turned upside down!!”

Pastor Todd also received backlash for smearing saliva on someone’s face during the pandemic and potentially exposing him to COVID.

What is the CDC going to do about Mike Todd?” asked one Twitter user.

In another video, Todd later apologized for his nasty lapse in judgment and sanitary hygiene protocols. He said he wanted to apologize for the “spit hitting the fan” and acknowledged his wrongdoing.

“It’s never my intention to distract others from God’s Word and the message of Jesus… even with illustrations! I apologize for my example being too extreme and disgusting! I Love Everybody. #REPRESENT.”

Pastor Todd went on to say he wanted people to feel loved by God, and he was sorry his message got lost in the aftermath.
