Whoopi Goldberg To Meghan McCain Down: “Are You Done?”

It’s no secret that Meghan McCain and Whoopi Goldberg often differ in their opinions on The View. But their latest exchange comes after McCain ranted on the talk show about MLB’s decision to move the All-Star game out of Atlanta. Goldberg, visibly fed up with her co-host, cut off her co-host to rhetorically ask, “Are you done?”

As we reported

earlier this week, MLB opted to switch locations of its 2021 All-Star games out of Atlanta, Georgia. The league chose to host the “Midsummer Classic” outside Georgia, which recently adopted a voting bill that restricts access to polls, putting people of color at a significant disadvantage.

MLB’s move was the topic of discussion on last week’s episode of The View, and each co-host brought their own opinion about the controversy.

“After the Democrats won in Georgia, suddenly they’re all panicking,” Joy Behar remarked. “…The Republicans know right now that they have nothing to offer the American people.

When it was McCain’s turn to speak, she didn’t hold back, telling the MLB to “just completely remove yourself entirely from Georgia, since it’s a racist, deplorable, unforgivable place, according to Major League Baseball.”

The conservative analyst then turned her attention to the POTUS, saying, “I’m really, really disappointed in President Biden…He’s the first sitting president in U.S. history to call for an economic boycott targeting a specific state.”

“The American public aren’t stupid,” she concluded. “They aren’t! And this is just virtue signaling across the board. And like it or not, Republicans and Democrats have to learn to live with each other.”

“Yes, they do,” Goldberg interrupted, with McCain appearing to be caught off guard. “I’m sorry, what?” she replied.

That’s when Goldberg snarkily asked her, “Are you done?” McCain quickly apologized and turned things back over to Goldberg, who

ended the segment with her own opinion, saying, “ This is B.S., and it’s B.S. all the way across.”

Though Goldberg definitely cut off her co-host mid-rant, many fans were here for it. “Whoopi was the entire audience in that moment,” a Twitter user wrote.

The ladies of The View return from a hiatus this week, so things are sure to remain interesting.
