Ex-Athlete Black Woman Launches ‘Bounceless’ Sports Bra For Women With Fuller Busts

Ex-athlete Black woman, Chantelle Lott, has launched ‘Bounceless’ brand sports bras for women with fuller busts.

According to Yahoo Finance, Lott, a former track and field athlete, launched the activewear company to provide bras for fuller-bust women. The bras reportedly provide complete chest support as they engage in physical activity.

“Bounceless is an activewear brand for fuller bust women (C cup and larger) who want to work out without the distraction of the bounce,” Lott said

in an interview with Go Solo. “We understand that this underserved population needs support in order to engage in the physical activities of their choice, and we want to be able to meet their bounce reduction needs.

She added that as a former track athlete, she’s “always been above average in the bust…During my senior year as a collegiate athlete, I decided I was going to design a sports bra–yes, with no fashion experience! I knew that I wanted to continue to be physically active and needed a sports bra to do so.”

Lott reportedly entered product development by 2015, launching a longstanding trial of modifications and designs. Three years later, in 2018, she worked with a Dallas team who reportedly assisted her with creating the design and released her first low-impact sports bra in 2019. The following year, in 2020, she began working with another Dallas team to patent her design and start manufacturing it.

Finally, she perfected the Bounceless Control™ patented $85 sports bra, which Indiegogo indicated was designed to eliminate pain and bounce. The sports bra is reportedly made of moisture-wicking fabric made of 30% spandex and 70% nylon interlocking fabric. It also has adjustable straps and an elastic breast band, which enables women to choose the perfect amount of support.

“I am motivated each day to continue to make Bounceless a leader in the activewear industry because of the feedback and comments I receive from women,” Lott shared. “Hearing their stories of how they have struggled to find a supportive sports bra and then hearing how confident they feel in ours reminds me that this is bigger than myself.”
