Tracee Ellis Ross And Pattern Beauty Partners With M.A.C. Cosmetics

Actress and Pattern Beauty founder Tracee Ellis Ross has partnered with M.A.C. Cosmetics to sell the Pattern x M.A.C. Holy Grail kit. The kit includes a M.A.C. Ruby Woo lipstick and Pattern Beauty’s Leave-In Conditioner.

Ross has long been a fan of the cosmetics company and credited M.A.C. for manufacturing her favorite red lipstick, Ruby Woo. The actress noted that she wanted the lipstick in the Pattern x M.A.C. Holy Grail Kit because all one needs is some red lipstick to dress up their face quickly.

“I have so many tubes of Ruby Woo. To me, it is the perfect elegant pairing to anything,” said Ross. “I love the way red lips look. A red lip to me is beautiful when you have no foundation on — you don’t need anything else. It just brightens up your face. So I keep a lipstick in my car. I keep it in my purse. I work out in a red lip!”

Ross announced the collaboration on Instagram and said the kit is available at pattern.beauty.com, Sephora and Ulta Beauty.

“THE HOLY GRAIL KIT 💋 @patternbeauty x @maccosmetics. Our first-ever collab is coming in hot for the holidays! It’s a kit with my two beauty must-haves: a special edition PATTERN Leave-In Conditioner along with the one and only M.A.C Ruby Woo lipstick. Can you say holy grail heaven?!??!  Available now at patternbeauty.com! Link in bio #PATTERNxMAC (ps: also, I’m doing ASMR now.).”

Ross began her hair care line two years ago made primarily for natural, curly and coily hair patterns. However, she said that her Pattern Beauty Leave-In Conditioner is for all hair types needing moisture.

“The truth is Pattern is for curly, coily and tight textures,” she explains. “[But] the Leave-In Conditioner is actually a product that can extend to all different kinds of people that just want to maintain moisture in their hair, and a soft hold.”

The actress said that the Pattern Beauty Leave-In Conditioner is a perfect product to use on wet or dry hair and noted she uses it for soothing her braids and wash-and-go styles.

The Pattern x M.A.C. Holy Grail Kit is $35 and is available at Sephora, pattern.com and Ulta Beauty.
