Viral Tik-Tok Video Shows Pizza Hut Worker Calling Cops on Black Customer, Refuses To Believe She Paid For Meal

Cell phone recordings have uncovered many racial incidents this year. In a viral Tik-Tok video, the Daily Dot reported that a Pizza Hut worker is shown calling the cops on a Black customer, refusing to believe she already paid online for her pizza.

The video has amassed over 60,000 views since it was posted after the footage displayed an elderly Pizza Hut employee on the phone with the police.

Deaisha Thompson, the customer who was denied her pizza, captioned the now-viral video, “Pizza Hut worker calls the police on me to have me removed for not wanting to pay him another $34 when I already paid.”

The food chain worker was on the phone, allegedly with the police.

“I have a customer here that claims that she paid online,” he says to the person on the other line, the Daily Dot reported.

She interjected to say, “With a customer service representative. Gave him my card number.”

After exchanging words with Thompson, the employee walked away from the counter.

“Like, how is this my fault?” the customer said. “How am I refusing to pay? I already paid. He was rude when I came up in here.”

Another employee then approached the counter and handed the TikToker her food.

“That’s mine,” she said. “That I paid for, and he’s not giving my food. Thank you. You have a good day, sir. I paid for it.”

The woman claimed she “waited over an hour for them to deliver.

“I called to ask how much longer for that & was told two more hours. So I just went a picked it up,” she said in the comment section.

Commenters on Tik-Tok have sparked an ongoing conversation about the incident on the social platform.

“Anyone else notice he needed to leave the area so he could talk to the cops? Why?” one user wrote.

“Y’all don’t understand thirst type of technology is above him. That man was born in 1902 fr,” wrote another.

Like many other food restaurants, there is an option for the customer to pay for their meal online. Therefore, they’re free to either have their food delivered or ready for pick-up when they arrive. However, in this case, things went differently for Thompson.
